Idaho Rivers United - 2026 Art

When I was asked to jump on a call with IRU to discuss this collaboration my heart skipped a beat. I couldn’t have imagined a more perfect organization to work with- sharing our love for Idahos abundant rivers and wildlife. Over the span of the last few years, I have done numerous research projects and attended several events all relating to Idahos wild salmon. Not only highlighting their resilience, beauty and strength but focusing on the challenges they currently face- extinction. Once home to one of the largest salmon populations in the world, Idaho now struggles to keep the infamous fish returning each year due to the four lower Snake River Dams. Thankfully to our friends at IRU- being the leading conservation organization for the state, they continuously put forth the effort in protecting and restoring our wild rivers and all that inhabit them.

Through this collaboration I am honored to create a custom-one of a kind painting that will be featured on this years products and advertisements. With the amount of work and dedication IRU has put towards protecting Idahos wild salmon, we thought it was best to highlight them in this piece, as they truly are the stars of the show. I am thrilled to share this painting with you all!
